Meridian Police are looking for a woman who they say tried to lure an eight-year-old boy to her car

 

Meridian Police are looking for a woman who they say approached an eight-year-old boy and tried to get him to her car.

Police say they want to find Krystal Knorpp of Meridian.

According to police, Knorpp approached the boy who was playing on the swings at Ambrose School, on N. Locust Grove Road and engaged in conversation when she eventually said that her eight-year-old son needed help with a school project in her car.

KBOI-2-TV reports, Knorpp then directed the boy toward the car but the boy hesitated and got scared.

According to a witness Knorpp then went back to the swings and began laughing “maniacally.”

Knorpp suffers from mental health issues and is not currently on her medication and has been known to become delusional police say.

Knorpp is driving a 2005 light green Ford Escape with Idaho license plate 1A308WZ.
