Planting Event on Table Rock Set For Saturday

St. Luke’s employees and volunteers are helping restore land damaged by wildfire on Table Rock.

Idaho Fish and Game, the Idaho Department of Lands, and the City of Boise all say this is one of the largest planting events.

Thousands of bitterbrush and sagebrush will be restored in the area, which was damaged by a late June 2016 fire that consumed more than 2,500 acres and blackened the iconic Foothills landmark.

According to a press release, the restoration takes place tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
