Idaho State Board of Education Increases Tuition Fees

Tuition fees are going up again in Idaho.

The Idaho State Board of Education approved resident student tuition and fees for the 2017-2018 academic year at Idaho’s public, four-year higher education institutions:

At Boise State University, Lewis-Clark State College, and the University of Idaho, fees will rise by 3.5%. At Idaho State University, fees go up 3.0%. Eastern Idaho Technical College will go up 2.5%.

A press release says the State Board weighed several factors in making its final decision, including salary equity among employees, increasing health insurance costs, increases in resident enrollment, affordability, and expectations for high quality education programs.
