Since April, the Idaho Air National Guard’s 124th Fighter Wing was deployed to Turkey where the United States has based A-10 attack planes, refueling tankers, and surveillance aircraft and armed drones.
More than 200 members of the Idaho Air National Guard were welcomed home late Sunday night at Gowen Field in Boise after 6 months deployed in Turkey.
Idaho Gov. Butch Otter, Lt. Gov. Brad Little, Boise Mayor Dave Bieter and others welcomed the soldiers home.
