Eagle police looking into car burglaries and thefts.
Patrick Orr is the public information officer for the Ada County Sheriffs office and says these are crimes of opportunity, people driving around and looking for open cars and garages.
“If there’s one thing that we can get across to everybody out there will be please, please lock your stuff up because that’s the best way to prevent being a victim of this type of crime,” Orr says.
He says this happens on and off during the summer and affects all of Ada County.
