Idaho Army National Guard in Romania for Military Excercise

Soldiers of the Idaho Army National Guard are in Romania, ahead of a large multinational military exercise.

Around 100 soldiers of the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team are currently in Port Constanta, receiving supplies to be used during Exercise Saber Guardian 16.

The annual exercise will run from July 27th to August 7th, the exercise rotates among Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine and will include nearly 3,000 personnel from 11 countries.

The Times-News reports that the 116th is comprised of personnel from Idaho, Montana and the Oregon Army National Guards.
