Federal Officials Search For Cyber-Bullies After Idaho Girl Commits Suicide

Eastern Idaho investigators and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force are looking for cyber-bullies following the death of 17-year-old.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and federal officials tell the Idaho State Journal that the suicide of a Dayton girl last month, could’ve been provoked by online bullies.

Officials believe the bullies used a fake Facebook account to harass the girl and encourage her to kill herself.

There were no new developments in the case as of Wednesday but officials are looking at digital evidence.
