Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s lawyer may seek a deposition from presidential contender Donald Trump after deflamitory comments made on the campaign trail.
Army Lt. Col. Franklin Rosenblatt asked Trump for an interview to discuss Trumps’s comments about Bergdahl to determine whether they will seek to have him give a deposition or appear as a witness at a legal hearing.
Bergdahl’s legal team believe Trump’s comments, such as calling Bergdahl “a no-good traitor” could affect his right to a fair trial.
Bergdahl is charged with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy and faces life in prison if convicted.
