Northern Idaho Health Officials Warn After Gonorrhea Cases Reported Hit All-Time Highs

Health officials are reminding residents in northern Idaho to get tested as Gonorrhea cases hit all-time highs.

The Panhandle Health District says they have had 32 cases of the sexually transmitted disease reported this year.

That’s compared to only 17 cases between January and May of last year.

The Idaho Press-Tribune reports, some people who are infected may not even experience symptoms, that’s why it’s important to get tested.
