Idaho Whistle Pig Tests Positive For The Plague

A whistle pig found in south Boise has tested positive for the plague.

State health officials say they’re asking people to take precautions, since the disease can be spread to dogs and cats through rodents, dead bodies, and even fleas.

KBOI 2 TV Reports, anyone who finds a dead ground squirrel should not touch them according to Idaho Fish and Game.
